Know More About Ideal Deep Fryer

If you have a small café or diner that serves short-order snacks, like chicken fingers and fries, or if you just want to serve perfectly fried meals at home, a professional deep fryer is for you. Using a deep fryer for frying chicken, fries and other foodstuffs are recommended. An improvised deep fryer doesn’t do a very good job of thoroughly, evenly and consistently cooking frozen food. There are a lot of professional deep fryers for home or commercial use in the market today. Choosing the wrong one can result in an expensive appliance you don’t like to use. It should have an indicator light that signals when the oil is at the correct cooking temperature. A timer for avoiding over crisping and burning what you’re cooking. The one in the oven or an egg timer can be a substitute. A viewing window on the lid of the cooker, just to check if the job is going well. Although it can be obscured by steam and spattered oil.

Variable temperature controls, for fine tuning the cooking temperature or selecting the correct cooking settings for a specific food item. No guesswork should be involved. A removable lid that helps protect you from oil spatters and is easy to clean. Just remove the lid when you’re finished frying and clean it separately.

A sturdy metal basket that is large enough to hold the food and can be lowered into the oil with the lid closed. This prevents you from being spattered with oil when you put frozen or moist food into hot cooking oil. An oil filter in the lid to diminish cooking odors and oily film spreading in the kitchen. Get replacement filters so you won’t run out.

A removable pot that can make draining oil and cleaning much easier. You can’t submerge an electric deep fryer in water, so this is a better solution. Dryers with draining tubes in the bottom aren’t very practical as bits of food can get the tube clogged, can’t be adequately cleaned and might be easily broken.

A cool touch exterior. This is an especially nice touch because it means you can safely handle the deep fryer even if you have just finished using is and the oil is still hot.
